Older people over 65 years who may have Dementia, Parkinson’s, Alzheimer’s or restricted movement.
Description
‘Re-Connect’ dance project is a free gentle movement class for older people aged 65+ years on Mondays and Thursdays from 10.30am – 12.15pm. This supportive community class is designed for people who may have Dementia, Parkinson’s or restricted movement.
The activities are led by a professional dance artist, supported by volunteers and movements can be done seated, standing or a combination of both. The dance activities provided are free for participants, involve refreshments and social time to aid community cohesion. We aim to improve mental and physical wellbeing, provide an opportunity to make new friends and learn a new skill in a supportive, and safe environment.

There is free parking at the venue and access to the tram and bus 12, 22, 2 and 21 close by.
