Description

Our Community Clinic is a low-cost counselling service for adults (age 18+) across Scotland who are experiencing mild to moderate mental health distress. Sessions are delivered by trainee counsellors on our Diploma in Integrative Counselling and Psychological Therapy. All trainees receive regular supervision from a First Psychology approved practitioner to ensure the quality of their clinical work, have a PVG certificate registered to First Psychology and work within the ethical framework of the BACP (British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy).

All clients are initially assessed by a qualified First Psychology practitioner to explore their circumstances, needs and aspirations and to ensure counselling is appropriate, prior to being offered a suitable appointment with a trainee counsellor.

Sessions are offered on a weekly basis for a maximum of 20 sessions.
