Availability : Edinburgh Wide

Provided by: Health in Mind

Who is this for?

Our courses are open to residents of Edinburgh aged 18+ from ethnic minority communities. We encourage active participation so that people get the most out of their attendance. Therefore, our courses are suitable for people who can reflectively engage in a group learning environment.

Description

A 4-week course which aims to support people from Ethnic minority communities who are experiencing stress to identify and manage their symptoms. Stress is a normal response to difficult situations, and everyone experiences stress in their lives. However, we need to recognise when symptoms become too frequent, too intense or prolonged as they can have a negative impact on daily functioning. This course will support participants to learn what stress is, what it feels like for them and how they can use techniques to build resilience.
