Description
Our Capoeira classes for older teens and adults are welcoming, inclusive sessions led by experienced Axé Boom Boom instructors. Capoeira is an Afro-Brazilian art form combining movement, music, rhythm, partner work and self-expression. Classes include kicks, dodges, flowing movements, mobility, strength and coordination exercises, as well as traditional Capoeira music and group practice. The sessions are designed to support both physical and mental wellbeing. Participants can improve fitness, flexibility, balance, coordination and body confidence while enjoying a creative and social form of physical activity. Classes also provide an opportunity to reduce stress, build confidence, learn new skills and connect with others in a supportive community. No previous Capoeira experience is required, and participants are encouraged to progress at their own pace.
