Who is this for?

The Wellbeing Project is a group work project for people who are experiencing low mood, anxiety, loneliness, or lack of motivation.
There are weekly topics:
- negative thinking patterns
- the importance of being in nature
- building resilience
You can learn tools and techniques to help manage difficulties and make positive and healthy lifestyle choices. The course is run by the Wellbeing Project Co-ordinator and the Community Action Worker. Once the formal group work has finished, there are many opportunities for you to stay engaged and get involved in various community projects that will further support your path to a more fulfilled life.
The Wellbeing Project lasts for 8 weeks.
We now offer community yoga. These are very relaxed and inclusive classes and the teacher is trauma informed. Classes are for everyone, but particularly suit beginners or those who have ever felt intimidated by a yoga class. We are a friendly community and classes are free for those who need them to be free and by donation for those who wish to contribute. There is no need for a referral but you must contact Cat to discuss needs and book in before your first class.
