Who is this for?

  • Those living in Restalrig, Lochend, Craigentinny, and the surrounding areas, who are experiencing poor mental health

Description

The Wellbeing group is 8 weeks of group work for people who are experiencing low mood, anxiety, loneliness, or lack of motivation.

There are weekly topics:

  • Understanding stress
  • Challenging negative thinking patterns
  • Mindfulness, breathing and relaxation techniques
  • Nature connection
  • Sleep and nutrition
  • Building resilience.

You will learn tools and techniques to help manage difficulties and make positive and healthy lifestyle choices. The course is run by the Wellbeing Project Co-ordinator. Once the formal group work has finished, there are many opportunities for you to stay engaged and get involved in various community projects that will further support your path to a more fulfilled life.
