Description
Conservation Group
The conservation group currently runs Monday’s 10am – 12pm. Learn about the wildlife that lives around the community garden and help protect it by maintaining and preserving the environment. This is an opportunity to get outside, to give something back to nature, to learn something new and meet like minded people.
Activities include wildflower sowing, laying woodchip, protecting trees and hedges, willow crafts and wildlife surveys. There are opportunities to develop your own conservation projects.
This group involves light to medium physical activity (participant led) and we always finish a session with a cup of tea.
Participants are invited to join for an initial period of up to 12 weeks with potential to continue long-term.
