Who is this for?

  • People aged 18 years old and over with a mental health concern

Description

Come move your body and support your mental health at Edinburgh Leisure Royal Commonwealth Pool. With this group, you will get access to all Edinburgh Leisure centres so you can go on days that suit you at a location close to you. There is a charge of £1 per session, which can be paid on the day.

Personal support will be provided in the gym to learn what to do. Please remember suitable clothing and water. Please also have something to eat before exercising. We will provide you with a water bottle and trolley token for the locker.

Contact Point is a mental health resource centre that provides a range of meaningful group activities to help your personal development, signpost you to appropriate community resources and to help prevent you from becoming isolated. For this group, we work closely with Edinburgh Leisure to support physical and mental health.

To access our social space or any of our activities, we require the completion of an individual referral and risk assessment form, prior to use. This helps us to better support you and keep the service a safe space for you and others.

Is there a cost?

£1 per session which is paid directly to Edinburgh Leisure and can be paid on the day.
