Availability : Edinburgh Wide

Who is this for?

  • Open to anyone looking to stop smoking

Description

Quit Your Way gives free help to stop smoking in different places across Lothian. Our trained team are friendly and easy to talk to. They will chat with you about things that can help you quit, like stop smoking products. Support usually lasts for 12 weeks, or until you finish your stop smoking medicine and feel ready to stay quit.

At your first appointment, your stop smoking practitioner will talk with you about your smoking and what might help you quit. They can make a plan just for you. This might include free stop smoking products like patches or gum, or a medicine called Varenicline (if it’s right for you). They’ll also share tips to help you cope.

You’ll meet with your practitioner each week. They’ll check how you’re doing, cheer you on, give advice, and help you stay on track to quit smoking for good.
