Description

If you’re experiencing anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, or any other difficulties before or after having a baby, Crossreach is here to support you. Its trained counsellors and therapists are experienced, compassionate and offer support without judgement.

Appointments are usually weekly and last between 50 to 60 minutes. The day, time and frequency of these sessions will be discussed with you when you first access the service.

CrossReach Perinatal Services offer a wide range of therapies to ensure you and your family can receive support that is right for you:

  • Individual counselling
  • Remote therapy
  • Group counselling
  • Relationship counselling for couples;
  • Perinatal therapy specific to new and expectant parents
  • Infant massage

Crossreach also offers crèche spaces for 0-5 year olds if you require childcare when attending the service. Support is delivered from our two city centre premises at Queen Street and Palmerston Place as well as remotely by phone and video calls.

  • Self-referrals
  • Referrals by third parties

Referrals can be made through a Health Visitor or GP/other Health professional

Is there a cost?

There’s no fixed charge for using our perinatal services, but a weekly donation for your counselling or therapy at whatever level you can afford.
