Peer support groups for someone with an eating disorder (SupportED)

Who is this for?

Anyone over the age of 18 who is experiencing any eating disorder, no formal diagnosis is needed.


SupportED’s support groups are a place for people experiencing an eating disorder to give and receive emotional peer support. Support groups are led by trained volunteers. It is a safe and confidential space for people to share their experiences and learn from each other.

SupportED offers:

  • An in person group once a month in city centre Edinburgh for anyone over 18 with any eating disorder.
  • Online groups several times a month for anyone over 18 with any eating disorder.
  • An online group twice a month for anyone over 18 with binge eating disorder.

Non Specific ED Support Group Online- Fortnightly Monday Evening- 5:45-7pm
Non Specific ED Support Group Online- Fortnightly Wednesday Evening 6:30-7:30pm
Binge Eating Online Support Group- Fortnightly Tuesday Evening 6:30-7:30pm
