Who is this for?

  • Older people

Description

The Out and About group provide opportunities for older people to meet each other and go on outings together to local places of interest. The group helps the lives of older people by offering friendship and the opportunity to visit interesting places.

The group leaves from the Eric Liddell Centre and travels by bus. Visits are usually in Edinburgh and involve a short walk. The group leader makes sure there is time to sit together to have a chat and a cup of tea. The group numbers are small to ensure that all everyone feels included. Once the outing is finished, the group returns to the Eric Liddell Centre.
