Who is this for?

Residents of Edinburgh aged 18 years old and over who are interested in self-management techniques for their mental health.

Description

Three online workshops exploring subjects related to mental wellbeing. These are suitable for people experiencing stress, anxiety, feelings of overwhelm, low mood or depression.

These sessions offer a space for people to learn and practise tools and strategies for staying well, with elements of peer support. Health in Mind encourages active participation so that the attendees get the most out of these sessions.

People can register for all 3 sessions or selected one/ones.

Opening times

Wednesdays at 11 am – 1 pm

13 July: Relaxation
Recognising when pressure/stress becomes a problem.
Learning ways to relax using e.g. breathing and mindfulness techniques.

20 July: Self-Compassion
Exploring personal core beliefs and learning how to be with oneself in a kind and non-judgemental way.

27 July: Healthy Relationships
Learning how to set boundaries and communicate assertively in line with personal needs and values.
