People living with dementia, or a mild cognitive impairment and those in a caring role/friends/family.

Description

Alzheimer Scotland’s Lauriston Castle Outdoor Brain Health & Dementia Resource Centre, unites nature-based activity with brain health. Lauriston Lodge has been significantly upgraded and reconfigured and follows the principles of dementia friendly design, with access to the adjacent memory garden. The following support is on offer:

  • information and advice
  • activities for people with dementia and carers
  • peer support groups for people with dementia and carers.

Our Centre also offers support for anyone interested in finding out about brain health and risk reduction. Our trained staff can work with people of all ages to understand more about the factors that contribute to brain health and to build a personalised brain health plan.

No referral required. Call to make an appointment to discuss how the service can support you.
