Who is this for?

Are aged 16-24 years old

  • Have the right to live and work in the UK
  • Live in Edinburgh City
  • Receive support for their mental health

Young person must be in one of the following groups:

  • Unemployment
  • Under-employed
  • Education leavers without a positive destination
  • In low paid employment
  • At risk of redundancy
  • At risk of losing an apprenticeship

Description

Individual Placement and Support (IPS) offers in individual and time unlimited support for young people with mental health problems into employment.

The IPS specialist is there to help you to gain and develop skills and knowledge that are essential to enter the work environment. They offer an intensive pre-employment and time-unlimited in-work support to boost your confidence before applying for a job and to sustain into it.
