The Marie Curie Helper service matches volunteers with individuals diagnosed with a terminal illness and/or their loved ones to provide emotional support and companionship.
A Marie Curie Helper is a trained volunteer can support you if you have a terminal illness or a family member/carer of someone who has terminal illness. The helpler can help you cope more effectively and with more confidence at this difficultie point in your life.
A Marie Curie Helper volunteer will help you get the most out of services, support and choices that are available to you by providing appropriate information. This service is available for approximately 3 hours a week.
