Description

Health All Round is a registered charity and voluntary sector agency which aims to support people living in Gorgie Dalry, Saughton, Stenhouse and surrounding areas of Edinburgh to live longer, healthier lives.

We are able to provide a wide range of services because we involve local people in all that we do – through volunteering, through consultation and by working together to meet the whole community’s needs.

We deliver a range of free or low cost services to improve people’s physical, social and mental wellbeing and 200 – 250 people access HAR services every week.

Our services include support for chronic pain groups, mental health and wellbeing groups, art groups, outdoor ecotherapy groups, older persons service (over 50’s), Women’s group, low cost acupuncture and low cost counselling service.

80% people accessing HAR services have a long term health condition or disability. Our holistic approach and the variety of services which we offer means we can support people with a broad range of needs. Since our establishment in 1989 our evaluation, including before and after scores, has demonstrated the effectiveness of our services in helping people to feel and live better.
