Who is this for?

  • People aged 16 years old and over with a long term mental health diagnosis that impacts on day to day functioning.


SAMH’s Edinburgh Support Service can help you to develop the necessary practical, social, emotional, coping and communication skills in order to manage and enjoy life. We support service users to improve their knowledge, understanding and self-management of their mental health and wellbeing, through practical, emotional and social supports.

Support is offered on a needs basis for those with a mental health diagnosis that impacts on their day to day life. Visiting support can be for a short intervention to longer term depending to your individual needs.

How do I access this?

  • Referral by third party

Referrals through Social Worker or Care Manager to the Service Matching Unit.

Is there a cost?

£22.26 per hour
