The Early Years Service exists to meet the needs of families with children, pre-birth to 3 years.

The service is run by a small team of qualified and experienced workers and social work students on placement. Working in partnership with parents, health workers and social care professionals the service provides sensitive and practical support at this early stage.

The service can provide support in your home or the Multi-Cultural Family Base offices or through group work. It can help you to meet other parents, improved emotional wellbeing for the whole family, increase your confidence in parenting and develop a better understanding of children’s individual needs.

The Early Years Service is currently offering a range of practical and emotional support across a range of social networks and media.

Referrals can be made by telephoning the office and are welcomed from families, health visitors and other professionals.
