  • Young people aged between 12 and 21. The Junction’s main focus is Leith and North East Edinburgh, however, the team will work with young people from any part of Edinburgh

Description

Creative Express is the part of The Junction – Young People, Health & Wellbeing that focuses on the use of creativity to support the health and wellbeing of local young people. The Creative Express service includes one-to-one support, groupwork and outreach.

The service offers emotionally safe spaces where you can creatively express your thoughts, feelings and ideas in relation to your own and others health and wellbeing. It does this through the use of various mediums for example poetry, painting, collage, creative writing. The team will work with your to see what art practice you would like to explore. .

Creative Express also allows The Junction to explore various creative therapies such as Bibliotherapy, Art Therapy and Creative Writing for Therapeutic Purposes; and to create bespoke projects and programmes in response to your interests.
