Description
The Marie Curie Companion Service matches volunteers with individuals diagnosed with a terminal illness and/or their loved ones to provide emotional support and companionship.
A Marie Curie Companion is a trained volunteer can support you if you have a terminal illness or a family member/carer of someone who has terminal illness. The companion can help you cope more effectively and with more confidence at this difficult point in your life.
A Marie Curie Companion volunteer will help you get the most out of services, support and choices that are available to you by providing appropriate information. This service is available for approximately 3 hours a week.
