Description
CoCo Counselling is an Edinburgh based community counselling service offering one-to-one counselling and psychotherapy for adults and young people.
Clients will be offered an initial appointment followed by a block of 11 sessions lasting 50 minutes each. If they require longer-term counselling, they can can re-apply for further blocks. In addition to the indoor work, CoCo offers a ‘walk and talk’ service to those who prefer working in the outdoors.
The team consists of eight counsellors working through the week, offering support in a wide range of issues such as:
- relationship difficulties
- unemployment, homelessness
- bereavement, loss or pregnancy
- isolation, anxiety, depression or stress
- self-confidence and self-esteem
- abuse or violence
- childhood issues
- workplace issues
- Anxiety

- Gender identity
- Trauma
- Workplace issues

Is there a cost?
CoCo offers an affordable service with several options for payment. You can pay what you are able to, a fee-paying service, or a subsidised service if you are a student. If you are able to pay the full fee for counselling, you will be helping to support the much needed affordable service for others in your community.
