Carers Forum (Partners in Advocacy)

Availability : Edinburgh Wide

Who is this for?

Carers of people aged 16+ with a mental illness, learning disability, autism, dementia or acquired brain injury.

Description

We provide opportunities for carers to be involved in collective advocacy. Carers can work together to bring about change and raise awareness of issues which affect them. They can share their experiences, exchange information, and take action as a group. Our Carers Forum meets bimonthly and is led by carers. We also arrange for speakers to join us, and it is a great place to meet other carers who may be in similar situations.

Meetings are typically held bimonthly at Great Michael House in the Leith Links (14 Links Place, EH6 7EZ).
