Description

VOCAL runs training and leisure events information and support to carers.

Training and leisure events can enable you to develop skills and knowledge that can help you be more confident in your caring role and to manage your own financial, physical and mental health and wellbeing. The events give you an opportunity to meet other carers and access further support and services.

Topics include:

  • stress management
  • understanding dementia
  • first aid
  • caring for someone with a specific condition or disability

In addition, there are regular fitness and wellbeing classes, visits to galleries and historic buildings and art and craft groups – there’s something for everyone.

Sessions are delivered online and face-to-face.
