Description

The courses, events and activities listed on this website are free of charge and provided by VOCAL (Voice of Carers Across Lothian).

The courses provide carers with opportunities to develop skills and knowledge, connect with other carers, and nurture their own wellbeing. The course selection updates every two months, but frequent sessions include:

  • Stress management
  • Understanding dementia
  • Arts and crafts
  • Walk and Talk

Is there a cost?

Free to unpaid carers registered with VOCAL in Edinburgh or Midlothian.

Location information

Sessions are held in different venues across Edinburgh and Midlothian. Most Carer Training events take place online or at VOCAL Edinburgh Carers’ Hub (60 Leith Walk, EH6 5HB) or Midlothian Carer Centre (30/1 Hardengreen Estate, Dalhousie Road, Dalkeith, EH22 3NX).
