For autistic people looking for support with navigating different stages of employment

Description

Our Aut Support Works! open sessions are running on Mondays from August – October 2026. These autistic-led sessions will provide tools and insights to help you improve your working life. The sessions will help you better understand what it means to be autistic and how to navigate different stages of employment – from applying for jobs to progressing your career.

These take place via Zoom and are stand-alone sessions, people can attend as many as they’d like. Friends, family members, and others informally supporting autistic people will also benefit from attending.

  • Mon 24 Aug: 12.30-2pm Applying for jobs as an autistic person
  • Mon 31 Aug: 12.30-2pm Navigating job interviews as an autistic person
  • Mon 7 Sep: 12.30-2pm Autistic wellbeing and employment
  • Mon 14 Sep: 12.30-2pm Equality Act, reasonable adjustments and self-advocacy
  • Mon 28 Sep: 12.30-2pm Personal development and career progression
  • Mon 5 Oct: 12.30-2pm Workplace cultures and autism disclosure
  • Mon 26 Oct: 6.00-7.30pm Employment as an autistic person Q&A
