Young people invited to join suicide prevention advisory group in Scotland
25 June 2026

Suicide Prevention Scotland, in partnership with Children in Scotland and the University of Edinburgh, is inviting young people aged 16 to 24 to apply for a new Youth Advisory Group.
The group is seeking members with lived experience of suicidality, as well as those who have been bereaved by suicide, to help shape and inform national suicide prevention work.
The advisory group will provide an opportunity for young people to share their perspectives and contribute to improving understanding, support, and services for others across Scotland.
Organisers are encouraging anyone who feels able to take part to consider applying and help ensure that youth voices are central to future suicide prevention efforts.
More information about the opportunity and how to get involved is available via Children in Scotland.
