Thinking about volunteering? Whether you’re looking to give back to your community, meet new people, learn new skills or make a positive difference, the Volunteer Edinburgh Recruitment Fair is a great place to get started.
Returning on Tuesday 1 September 2026, Edinburgh’s largest volunteering event will bring together more than 60 charities, community groups and voluntary organisations from across the city, giving you the chance to explore a wide range of volunteering opportunities all under one roof.
The fair is a friendly and informal event where you can speak directly with organisations, ask questions and find out what volunteering involves. Whether you’re interested in supporting older people, helping young people, protecting the environment, promoting equality, supporting health charities or getting involved in your local community, there will be plenty of opportunities to discover.
Whether you’re volunteering for the first time or looking for a new role, everyone is welcome.
