Artist Support at the Fringe
Health in Mind Artist Support
Hello Edinburgh Fringe Artists 2026!
We understand that the Fringe festival experience, while exhilarating, can also be demanding. That’s why local mental health charity Health in Mind partners with Fringe Artist Support to offer free person-centered, one-to-one conversations to support your emotional wellbeing as you navigate the fringe. Sessions are supported by our small, experienced team and are free, confidential, and held in a private space within Fringe Central.

Sessions are tailored to meet your needs – whether you need a listening ear, a place to regulate, some practical support with self-care & coping strategies or a space to touch base on ongoing mental health challenges, our team are here to support you. Issues might be related to anxiety, self-esteem, or isolation, for example, and we can provide further resources about local and UK nationwide services as well.
From August 5th 2026 we can meet with you in person at Fringe Central, online, via TEAMS or a phone call – whatever best suits you. Sessions can be pre-booked via email or phone, and you are always welcome to pop along and say ‘hello’ to our friendly team! We also offer remote support sessions in the run up to the Fringe; if you’re looking for support or advice with your mental health as you prepare for your 2026 run, email us to arrange a call at any point between now and August.
100% of artists who accessed our support in 2025 gave us 5 stars and would recommend the service to fellow artists.
We’re truly looking forward to meeting you and are committed to making your experience at the Fringe not only more manageable but also more enjoyable, and we are here to support you every step of the way.
