Magazine

Pain Education Session

Our Pain Education Sessions are for anyone who has had pain for more than 12 weeks. The session will give you a better understanding of your pain to help you manage your condition more effectively in the long term.

Helpline

Pain Concern offers telephone and email support service to individuals in the UK through our helpline. Our skilled Helpline team aim to support and empower callers.

What to expect when you contact us:

  • An empathetic listener
  • Information about pain and self-management techniques
  • Directions to high quality publications and resources
  • No medical advice – the helpline does not replace medical services.

Pain Concern have quarterly information drop-in sessions at Craigmillar Library. Our remaining 2026 dates are Tuesday 28 July and Tuesday 27 October at 11am-1pm.

Opening times

  • Service users can access our online forum 24/7.
  • The Helpline is run by a trained team of volunteers, who aim to respond to voicemails and e-mails from service users within 3 working days.
