TALK: Exhibition

13 October 2023

Three times as many men as women die by suicide. TALK is an ongoing portraiture project by Edinburgh-based photographer Graham Williams, exploring the subject of men’s mental health. The portraits are made after a conversation between photographer and sitter about their own experiences of men’s mental health. The project aims to start a wider conversation about a subject which is still relatively under-discussed and to encourage anyone who may be struggling to reach out for help. This exhibition shows a selection of 12 portraits from the project, along with the sitters’ accompanying stories. Presented in collaboration with the Scottish International Storytelling Festival. It’s time to TALK.
