Ask for ANI – emergency help for anyone experience domestic abuse

04 February 2021

Ask for ANI

If you’re experiencing domestic abuse, using the codeword ‘Ask for ANI’ (pronounced ‘Annie’) at participating pharmacies will give you access to a private space, a phone and support.

Ask for ANI (Action Needed Immediately) has been set up by the Home Office to provide a discreet way for people living with domestic abuse across the UK to signal that they need emergency help from the safety of their local pharmacy.

You can access the Ask for ANI service at any Boots in the UK.
